Week 1 Update

On Wednesday of this week, we presented to the ECE 150/251 class about our idea, including which hardware features and software API's we will be using to complete this project.

In other news, we developed a project roadmap that will guide us, week by week, towards completing our project successfully. Additionally, we realized that the phones that we are using for development, Nexus 5, is not capable of advertising a UUID to act as a BLE beacon. Luckily, we have several BLE modules on hand and can flash one of those with firmware to act as a beacon. Although this is not ideal, the external BLE module will only act as an emulation and would not be necessary in the final product.
